30 Days of Me, Life

30 Days of Me – My Favorite Superhero

It started out as me just appeasing my daughter.  She is obsessed with Wonder Woman.  I humored the obsession by picking up anything Wonder Woman I could find.  Miss K is obsessed with Wonder Woman and we were lucky to “meet her” at the county fair here quite a few years ago and it just sent her obsession spiraling.

Miss K with Wonder Woman

By the way, I’m not sure if this Wonder Woman would ever read my blog, but if you are reading this, you made this little girl so very happy and even years later still talks about meeting Wonder Woman.  Thank you for playing the role so well.

Enter the Wonder Woman movie (the new one).  I usually go see the geeky movies with my father-in-law, Husband, and my brother-in-law.  It’s really turned into a tradition that I love to be part of.  So, when the new Wonder Woman movie came out, I was pretty excited to go to screen it to see if it would be okay for Miss K.

I feel in love with Gal Gadot and Wonder Woman.  I love the message that Wonder Woman has for little girls and boys, I love the kicka** Lasso of Truth, because let’s face it, as a mom and someone who works with kids, that’d really come in handy.  Plus, I love that it’s something that my daughter and I have together.  She really is a real-life Wonder Woman in the way she sees the world and tries to help it.  She is such a selfless girl whose heart is big and her intentions are so good.

What is your favorite superhero and why?
