My June 2018 Favorites

Big things happened for us in June!  Husband got HFMD, we started the process of getting a house, Father’s Day, birthdays, and trying to casually pack so when we finally find our new home it’s not a scramble to pack everything.  I can’t believe next month my sister is getting married and we will be going on so many adventures with out-of-town guests.  I survived the last month of school with my nephew and I’m looking forward to getting a break from that.  Here is my list of favorites for the month.

See’s Candy

I got some See’s Candy for Mother’s Day and I’m still snacking on them!  I love that I can pick the chocolate that I want, which means extra peanut butter ones and ones with almonds.  It’s a little spendy, but it’s so worth the price and I’m obsessed.  Fortunately, because it was a Mother’s Day gift, I don’t have to share.

FabFitFun

My sister sent me a free box for FabFitFun and so I tried it.  It was a mini box and in it was a purse, some hair oil, hand cream, and lip stain.  I was hooked.  I signed up for the regular box in time to get the Summer 2018 box and I will never go back.  $50 for a ton of full-size items?  This is definitely not sponsored (although it should be) but I highly suggest signing up if you like makeup, health, and fitness.  My favorite thing from the box was the Tarte eyeshadow and eyeliner.  If you do want to sign up, you can use my link and get $10 off!

Lindor Truffles Blueberries & Cream

I am a huge fan of Lindor Truffles.  Husband and I were at the grocery store when I came across their limited edition Blueberries & Cream Truffles.  I wanted to try them but they were $6.99 and Husband didn’t want to spend that much.  That weekend, we went to my mother-in-law and step-father-in-law’s house and they had a candy dish on their dining table and I just so happened to spot a Blueberries & Cream truffle (the last one).  I tried it, fell in love, and then insisted that we stopped at the store on the way home so I can stock up.  These are so amazing and they are sitting in my candy stash with the Strawberries & Cream truffles that I picked up in February.

Teal Rockstar

If you have a Black Rock near you and you love their flavored Rockstars, try a Teal Rockstar.  If you don’t have a Black Rock near you, but you have means to get flavored Rockstars, get a Recovery Rockstar with blue raspberry and passionfruit.  You won’t be disappointed.

Mint & Honey Sweet Leaf Green Tea

I have been on a tea kick when I’m not drinking Teal Rockstars.  My favorite go-to tea is the Mint & Honey Sweet Leaf Green Tea.  It has just the right balance of mint and honey and I’ve honestly tried all their other flavors and they just don’t hold a candle to the M&H ones.  If you like tea, but don’t want a tea that’s too sweet, try this one.

Stardew Valley

I am a huge fan of Harvest Moon and lately, my brother-in-law has been playing Stardew Valley for the Switch.  I have it for the PC and so he lit the fire underneath me to play it again.  I’ve been hooked.  I almost have Sam as a husband and there may have been a week where I completely ignored Eat, Sleep, Love, Repeat for Stardew Valley (oops.)

Pokemon Go

It’s hard for me to play Pokemon Go because I never really leave the house, but when I do get to play it’s amazing.  Husband and I got hooked on it again recently and it’s a great bonding experience for us, even though I’m Valor and he’s Mystic (boo).  We have a great system on taking gyms and we make days out of it.  We order our coffee and tea and go ride around to look at houses/take over the Pokemon world.

Credit Karma

I’ve been really focused on getting my life back on track.  One of the things that I’ve been using to help me get there is using Credit Karma to help track my credit score and what I can do to improve it.  It’s a really nice tool to use to see the progress you’ve made, but the credit score isn’t always accurate.  I found out my credit score is 50 points higher than CK said it was, which was a nice surprise.

Amazon Prime

You all know what Amazon Prime is.  It has saved me on more than one occasion when I have forgotten about a family member’s birthday or a holiday.  Amazon Prime is the true MVP.

My Stuffed Animals

My stuffed animals are the greatest and I made a huge blog post about why I love them here.

    1. That is good to know for the future 😉 I am partial to white chocolate or the “fun” flavors but I always enjoy going to your house and grabbing one.
