Guys, so my sister texted me the other day and told me she found something called Unicorn Bread at QFC. I immediately insisted that she buy it because, if it has anything to do with unicorns I’m there.
Her husband-to-be brought it over for me and I couldn’t wait to open it and try it out.
This is what the packaging looks like. According to Bakehouse Bread Company’s Facebook page, this break is available at all Kroger stores through April. I know there are only a few days left of April, but you have just enough time to rush to the store before it’s too late.
There was a little meltage in the car during the work day, but that doesn’t change how it tastes. My sister describes it as a pound cake with sprinkles and vanilla. I was very excited to try it and I felt like this bread was made for me.
Well. Let. Me. Tell. You.
If you are a fan of funfetti, frosting, and magic, this is for you. The bread is vanilla flavored and with the accompaniment of the sprinkles and frosting, it makes for a really nice dessert or snack. The great thing about it is, it looks really sugary but it doesn’t taste it.
The taste made me question why in the world I would eat something labeled “Unicorn” if I was an avid fan of unicorns. Was the bread made from Unicorn parts? Although this had me slightly concerned, I wasn’t all that concerned because it tasted amazing.
I think it’s time for some closeups.

In conclusion, you should go buy this bread before it leaves stores at the end of April. And Bakehouse Bread Company, if for some reason you are reading this, you should make this a regular bread in your rotations. Lots of unicorn fans would be pleased.
My son loves pancakes and ice cream with sprinkles…I’m pretty sure, he would also enjoy Unicorn bread! Thanks for sharing your discovery!

Thanks for reading, Christine! I definitely think that the world deserves Unicorn bread forever. It’s a shame that it’s gone now :c
